Kevin Ryan

 

Bio: Kevin Ryan is an accomplished horse trainer with a reputation up there with the best of them. Training out of Hambleton, Thisk, since obtaining his training license in 1981 he’s experienced success both at home and abroad with Racing Post Trophy, Prix de l’Abbaye, Prix Du Jockey Club (French Derby) and  Irish Champion Stakes group one wins to name but four.

2005 was the year of his Racing Post Trophy win at Doncaster with Palace Episode, as well as a win for Amadeus Wolf in Middle Park Stakes, his prize money totalled over £1 million for that year alone.

In future years multiple wins in the Ayr Gold Cup followed amongst other high profile successes. His training career wins already total over 1500, the vast majority of which have been on the flat, and so he’s at the top of his game with no sign of relenting!
