Jamie Snowden
Bio: If tragectory is anything to go by national hunt trainer Jamie Snowden is going places. The 2017/2018 season has proved to be his most successful to date with 25 winners and a cool £200,00 in prize money. The number of second places too (37), suggests that there is yet more to come from Snowden.
Based at Folly House in Lambourn Snowden takes a measured approach to training, and one of his biggest successes is surely Present View in the Close Brothers Novice Chase in 2014’sas Cheltenham Festival. All trainbers want to stamp their mark at a big racing festival and Snowden is no different. With a successful season behind him, many wonder what the next season will have in store for Jamie Snowden.
Since 2018, Snowden has steadily built on his successes and added several notable victories to his record. Highlights include Delta Work winning the Grade 2 Ascot Chase in 2021 and Not So Sleepy claiming the Grade 2 Kauto Star Novices’ Chase at Kempton in 2023, confirming his ability to train top-class chasers. His Folly House stable has continued to produce consistent winners across the National Hunt calendar and in 2026 he’s still very much at the top of his game.
