David O’Meara | Horse Trainers

Bio: In a route familiar to many in racing, David O’Meara was first a jockey – a jump jockey in this case – before beginning a training career (in 2010). This transition proved to be a wise decision and since that time he’s amassed over 100 wins in just three seasons.

O’Meara isn’t going for low hanging fruit either, in fact he’s known for quality rather than quality. Proof of this comes from his 9 group race wins in 2015 alone (group at group one), Amazing Mariabeing one of them.

A move to Willow Farm, York the following year saw further success and the ‘hall of fame’ on his website lists some of the highlights, such as Mondialiste (winner of group 1 and group 3 races) and Group one winner G Force.
