James Ewart
Bio: James Eart is a successful national hunt and flat racing trainer from Scotland. His career started, as with many trainers, as an amateur jockey. After that education, he moved to Pupil Assistant Trainer to Ferdy Murph, then in the same dual capacity to Champion French Jumps Trainer, Guillaume Macaire, where Ewart won at France’s Auteuil racecourse multiple times, including a ride in the
100th Prix De France Champion Amateur Chase.
He then spent time in France with a well known bloodstock agent learning that aspect of the sport too. Combining al of this knowledge would later serve Ewart well as he looks to perfect training methods and improve his chances of winning the big races, Cheltenham’s Queen Mother Champion Chase being the one he’s especially got his eye on. Ewart is clearly should of the work he’s doing at Craig Farm, Dumfriesshire, and he has good reason to be!
